One-Day Motorcycle Guided Tour: Conquer Gran Canaria’s Ultimate Riding Playground

We kick things off in Playa del Ingles, throttling along the southern coast where the tarmac begs you to lean in and open the throttle. The crisp ocean breeze and jaw-dropping coastal views are just a warm-up for what’s to come.

We drive to the west, passing through the winding roads of Mogán, with each curve offering fresh thrills and epic views. Starting the climb, the real fun begins. The roads here are freshly paved and screaming for action, giving you the perfect grip to carve through the wild curves and dramatic cliffside views.

We roll into Aldea de San Nicolas, a place where time stands still—and so do the crowds. Here, we’ll take a breather at a hidden, non-touristy beach that feels like a secret only the island’s old-school riders know about. Sip on a strong coffee, chow down on a bocadillo and soak up the raw, untouched vibe of this place before we saddle up again.

But don’t get too comfortable, because from here, the ride gets real! This is where your skills get tested—tight hairpins, sweeping curves and elevation shifts that’ll have your heart racing.

What lies ahead is a series of hairpins—more than 32 in less than 10 minutes, to be exact—and a feeling of complete wilderness. The scenery and magical views of this location have been chosen as one of the sets for the filming of the Fast and Furious 6 sequel – if the road was good enough for Hollywood stars like Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson and Michelle Rodríguez, we are pretty sure you will enjoy every second of it as well.

Roaring into Artenara, Gran Canaria’s highest standing village, you’re met with a panorama that makes every twist and turn of the climb worth it—where the road meets the sky and the rugged beauty of the island unfolds beneath your wheels.
