Roque Nublo is protected, and since early 2025 the island introduced regulated access during the day to keep the area preserved and enjoyable.

Here’s the clean, rider-friendly version:

• Daytime access is regulated between 09:00 and 17:00, with QR-controlled entry from an online reservation and a capacity limit per hour.

• The reservation is free — and it’s the easiest way to keep your Roque Nublo day smooth from start to finish.

One more important change: parking right at the old “classic start” has been heavily restricted, and parking around Roque Nublo is prohibited. The island set up designated parking areas (Tejeda and Cruz de los Llanos are the two most referenced), and from there you complete the final stretch in the way the site is designed for now.
