Such an easy experience! I've never hired a bike abroad before - we hired them online in advance and paid a small deposit, paying the rest on collection of the bikes. They took a further deposit to ensure no damage is done, but I got it back within 48 hours of returning the bike. We had our bikes for a total of 6 days and covered most of the Island. I definitely had the time of my life!!!
The staff were friendly, welcoming and happy to answer any questions. They also had gear you could hire if you needed, but they do provide gloves and a helmet free of charge - I decided to bring my own gear just to be comfortable in the heat. (Most locals wear none, so do with that information as you'd like!)
I hired a Yamaha MT07 and a friend hired the Tracer. I had such a great experience on the bike and so did my friend. We would definitely consider coming back to do it all again, from Pic Y Poc in Gran Canaria. It was really good value for money and the petrol was cheap too. You can hire a top box for €5 a day, which was super helpful. Your provided a lock and the bikes also have GPS tracking on. Id really recommend hiring from here if you have the chance. -
Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish. We hired four motorcycles from Pic y Poc Maspalomas for three days last week, and the whole experience was flawless. The guys were friendly, organised, and genuinely passionate about making sure everything went smoothly.
From the moment we arrived, the bikes were prepped, spotless, and ready to go. Paperwork was quick and clear, the guys walked us through everything with confidence, and their local knowledge was spot‑on — routes, fuel stops, hidden viewpoints, all of it. It made a huge difference to the trip.
Out on the road, the bikes performed perfectly. No issues, no surprises, just reliable machines that made exploring Gran Canaria an absolute joy.
What really stood out was how professional, relaxed, and genuinely helpful the whole service felt. Nothing was too much trouble, communication was excellent, and we always felt looked after.

After many years of touring on motorcycles,I decided to try something different , took my son with me on a 3 day tour of Gran Canaria by bike , from the first few minutes I knew we’d made a good decision.
Our tour guide Sebastian was friend,y and knowledgeable , got us kitted out with decent gear , bike had new tyres on , was well maintained and in good condition .
Super twisty tarmac roads , a small group of riders and everyone hit it off straight away.
Routes were great and well thought out , food stops were unique and awesome , visited places we would never have seen without Sebastian .
My son was a bit rusty having not ridden for a few years , however the dynamic of the set up allowed for all that and more .
There were no chicken strips by the end of the week and the days were genuinely everything I could have wanted .
Made some great friends and the exhilarating days of biking were some of the best I’ve had over quite a few decades .
If you want a more personal and bespoke experience than the bigger companies then this is definitely the company to go with.
I would definitely recommend and will be going back.
Sebastian’s local knowledge and experience was invaluable , even out side of the tour.
He’s a credit to the company and encompasses everything that is great about riding a bike .

It was a unique experience! You can get full equipment if you need it! We had a scooter in perfect condition to travel around the island with two backpacks! Plenty of space for your belongings!

From 4 feb to 13 feb I was on Gran Canaria and a friend told me that it is amazing for motorbike tours. And renting a bike you can do that at Pic y Poc in Maspalomas. If you are there go to the Dunes to have look. Well he was absolutely right. Beautiful bending roads and a very professional Rent-a-Bike shop. I rented a BMW310 which is enough qua horsepower, (I have a Megamoto HP2 but that is a bit too much and heavy for these small roads. You don't need 120 HP) To be honest the 310 is an excellent bike! easy to handle, low fuel cost and enough power. Pic y Poc people are very nice, they speak good English and are very honest, reliable and professional. The payment and return of Rental deposit is paid back very fast. Excellent. If you go there book in advance to have enough choice in the right bike as the availability is limited due to the excellent service I can imagine. Thank you for the great adventure. Sebastian and the team are great to deal with. They're keen bikers themselves and so provide the perfect service for visitors to enjoy their island. The roads are fantastically twisty and have to be experienced to be believed. The bikes (mt07&xsr900) were spot on and excellently maintained. The guys were extremely accommodating with us and couldn't have been more pleasant. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

I had a great experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Equipment and bike was fresh and in good condition. They also suggested a fantastic route for a day-trip. Never seen such beautiful roads and places. If you plan to explore Gran Canaria on a motorcycle then I recommend renting it from them. Top Guys!

Great experience renting a couple different bikes in top notch condition. Easy process, recommendations on routes and weather app to use. The bikes came with top box and a lock so the helmets could be locked up making walking around the beautiful mountian villages easier.

Just had three brilliant days on the Tracer 7. Bike was faultless. Roads, weather, and scenery were perfect. Every biker needs to visit Gran Canaria!!!

Weather (rain) tried to dampen the experience but had two great days riding the most amazing roads that are abrasive as course sandpaper.
I hired the Yamaha XSR900 for a spirited ride and it exceeded expectations. From start to finish, the bike never missed a beat and was in excellent mechanical condition, which immediately gave me confidence to push on in a challenging environment.
I wouldn’t hesitate to hire the XSR900 again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exciting yet capable motorcycle.
The recommendation to stick to the lower altitudes made complete sense.
I will be suggesting my mates come here too next year for some winter riding away from salt infested potholed crowded roads in the UK. -
Simply perfect! The bikes were in great shape, and the tires were top-notch, which gave me great confidence on the road. I was completely delighted with the service: the guys were so friendly and provided me with lots of great info. The riding gear was excellent and very well-maintained. I can warmly recommend this place to anyone. It doesn't get better than this!

Had an awesome day riding on the twisies along with Sebastian. There's no way we would have found those roads in such a short time without him, and as a bouns it was just my friend and I so we felt like we had a VIP tour cusomized to our liking. There were at least a couple of options under "Where would you like to go next? " category at nearly each stop.

We rented two bikes, and everything was perfect! The bikes were in great condition, and the team was super friendly and helpful. They were super accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for the ride. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Great selection of motorbike but all over 125cc. Bikes in great condition and come with phone holders with inductive charging. Jackets, gloves and helmets for hire . Very clean. Fluent English spoken and the guys were really helpful. A great experience

Great place for motorcycle and scooter hire in Gran Canaria. Guys running it are very friendly. Good range of well maintained and reasonably priced bikes. They have all the kit to make your rental a success, eg luggage, helmets, protective clothing. Also good local knowledge in the best routes.
All in all a very professional set-up and I would definitely use them again! -

I rented a Yamaha XMAX 300 scooter for the day. Simple pick up and drop off, the staff answered all the questions we had and explained the bike well. We also rented additional gear which was good for the price.
Bike was in good condition and perfect for our little day trip. Would recommend Pic y Poc to anyone visiting. -
My son and I rented two BMW GS 800's. We had them booked for a day. We arrived on time, and the bones were parked up and ready for us as we got there.
A little time spent on paperwork, and we were away. The kit they had in stock was of good quality.
The bikes were clean and looked well maintained. They both had wireless chargers fitted, which worked well.
The guys were professional, but also really good fun.
A great experience, and we will use them again when we next visit Gran Canaria. -
Good reliable, well maintained motorcycles for hire, I reserved my bike using their booking service on the website. Turned up on the day and everything went smoothly, allow about 30 - 45 mins for the paperwork to be finalised... Jackets, gloves, helmets are available for use, I only needed a helmet which was in good condition. Full face, flip up and open face helmets available. The bike is supplied fully fueled up and must be returned the same. I hired a Yamaha YSR700 which is perfectly adequate for the roads throughout the island. Dropped the bike back after my two days hire, everything was totally fussy free. Highly recommended if you're considering hiring a motorbike in Gran Canaria. Located in Playa del Ingles.

Bikes in good condition. Team friendly and professional. The best way to explore the island. Kawasaki Versys 650 more than enough for the windy roads. Cherry on top was the spontaneous lift back to the hotel! We will be back next year!

We rented a motorbike on Gran Canaria from the company Pic y Poc and had a great experience. We had booked the motorbike in advance, and everything went smoothly. The staff was very friendly and explained everything clearly when handing over the bike. The motorbike was equipped with everything listed in the description, including top and side cases, which were already mounted. The price was reasonable, and both the pickup and return process were trouble-free. I can only recommend this company!

The bike was almost new. It was fitted with an excellent phone holder and charger, and the clothing and helmets were great.

the best place to rent a motorcycle in the gran canaries. the guided tour was a really good solution, as a beginner you didn't have to worry about the route, traffic jams, etc. The motorcycle, the roads, the scenery and the guide were top of the line

Over the years my wife and I have hired motorcycles from many different companies. Sebastian at Picypoc was probably the best we have found so far. Our bikes pre-booked from England were sitting waiting for us when we arrived.
Both the Ducati Scrambler and Tracer were in excellent condition. Sebastian concluded all the paperwork and formalities very quickly. We decided to add extra cover for £10/day to minimise our financial risk should the worst happen. My wife and I had two brilliant days exploring the fabulous mountain roads of Gran Canaria. We will eventually share our experiences on my Banditmanuk YouTube channel.
We returned the bikes undamaged and full of fuel, everyone happy. Our security deposit returned. I would have no problem recommending this company. They spoke perfect English and were professional and courteous. -
Super nice service in all respects. The bike was great, the roads were challenging and Sebastian, my guide for the day, is one of those nice guys that is always relaxed but yet focused on the safety of his client. It was really surprising to see all the green lavish hills once you get up into the mountains with small beautiful towns and farms. Lots of great spots to stop for a photo or for a bite.

I could not have been happier with my experience! Both bikes (BMW310r & Ducati Scrambler full throttle) have been in excellent condition / brand new and come equipped with everything you need! Extremely nice, helpful and competent service & advice + a wide variety of helmets and protective gear to rent. Next time I'm back on the island, no question where I will rent my bike(s) - Pic y Poc it is!!

I had a day trip alone with a guide Sebastian. When I booked the tour they were very helpful and answered all my questions and guided me through the entire booking process. The trip lasted 5.5 hours and was very exciting and I felt quite safe. The guide was very helpful and gave me good tips during the trip. I can certainly recommend this to the vast majority of people who want an experience they will remember for the rest of their lives. You will be well taken care of at Pic y Poc

Dropped into the Pic y Poc shop on the spur of the moment - I wanted a small bike to explore on and they rented me a CB500x for the day, with helmet, jacket and gloves. Bike was perfect for the back roads of the island and made for a great day out. I enjoyed it so much I rented it again over the weekend! Great service from the guys, and would certainly rent from them again.

Very lovely experience. Everything was ready as reserved via internet page. A motorcycle was exactly the one as I have expected and obviously well maintained, in a good shape and working without any issues whatsoever. The process was easy and straightforward. Many sizes of helmets and textile jackets to choose from.

I rented a 300cc scooter for 5 days. I chose Pic y Poc because their website was easy to use. I could calculate all the costs and check all the necessary info like availability, extras and so on. When I arrived at their office, I was pleasantly surprised to get even a better offer. Needless to say the service was amazing and the scooter in great shape and the renting process is straightforward and fast. Definitely recommend them!

I walked in, no booking as last minute free day on the island. Got a MT07 as good as new. Rolling away within 20' with good advice where to ride. Bike was faultless. Had a superb day connecting up some amazing roads.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience exploring Gran Canaria with a Tracer boasting just 7000km and pristine, brand-new tires. The well-maintained bike even came equipped with a convenient phone charger and holder.
I must commend Victor, the owner, for his exceptional friendliness and going above and beyond to accommodate my late collection. The provided modular helmet, complete with a scratch-free visor and sun visor, added to the overall positive experience.
Outstanding customer service from Victor and his brother; I extend my best wishes for many prosperous years ahead. Without a doubt, a five-star service! -
Absolutely outstanding service. Cannot recommend it more. Run by 2 brothers who are super friendly and maintained good communication throughout our rental period (before, during and after).
5 day bike rental (2 bikes for 2 people) was great value. Bikes were in great condition, and the service support setup was reassuring (although we didn't need it). Helmets and gloves were new, in great condition and really comfortable, and jackets are also available.
They will hopefully add a store in Tenerife next year.
We will rent from them again. -
With over 30 years dealing with motorcycle shops and hire companies, Pic y Poc has to be up there as one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. We originally placed an order to rent a Z750. On arrival it was sat outside waiting to go. The owner was happy for us to take it, but advised us that this wouldn’t be the best bike for riding with a passenger due to it having a small rear seat. He recommended two other bikes which would be more suitable and were available fortunately due to being low season. On his advice, we went for the Tracer 7. This came with a top box and phone holder/charger. We was suited up in top quality branded motorcycle textile jackets, summer gloves and good clean helmets (my one was brand new), not a box with old cheap ones thrown in.
The Tracer 7 was a much better choice for riding round the island from tight twisty mountain roads with plenty enough power for faster roads.
Fantastic friendly good bilingual speaking owners with a passion for making their customers experience one to remember. We will definitely pre book our next hire bike with Pic y Poc. -

The Bike was extremely well serviced, with new brakes and tyres.

These 2 guys (brothers) are very reliable/friendly and speak good English. They are specialized in motorcycles, but they have also some scooters above 125cc. Just ask them for advice or tips. If I come back I'll definitely rent here again!

What a perfect motorcycle! I asked if I could see the motorcycle before filling in the online form, Victor was really nice with his communication and told me I could always come watch. He's always ready to help his customers and shares the needed information. The motor was in perfect condition, the best I have ever seen in rentals.

I rented the z750 for a couple days end of Feb 22. I was more than happy with the bike and it's condition (tyres had plenty of tread left + grippy). I loved this bike for the type of roads the Canaries have to offer. The 2 owners were very friendly and helpful. Victor gave me a very good route recommendation and places to see. They even helped me get a taxi to the airport on my drop off date. Thank you for everything and helping me have an incredible experience.

Rented the Tracer 700
which performed perfectly. I can't imagine many better suited bikes for the island. I did ~240km of twisty roads in a day with a big grin on my face. I'm used to bigger bikes, but anything heavier is just overkill (for solo riding) in my opinion. The light weight, upright position and longer suspension travel makes it perfect for all road conditions. And despite driving spiritely, I couldn't seem to get the fuel tank empty. And great service from Vic! Who's a true motorcycle rider first, and rental company second. -
It was my last day on the island and after seeing some of the great roads the island has to offer by car I was desperate to ride on them.
I visited Pic y Poc and turned up unannounced in the hope a bike would be available the same day. I was sorted out in 20 minutes and was on my way down the GC 200, couldn’t have asked for better service from great guys. The bike was in perfect shape, clean and well maintained. It was an awesome day out and a nice way to end the trip.

Me and my girlfriend took a trip around Gran Canaria last week on a Honda 125. It was the best experience. We were both of us on one scooter, and still it was smooth and very easy to handle on the mountain roads. Pic y Poc was very customer oriented and gave us the best service.
